What is “Attraction”?

Attraction is really just the “new” term for sowing and reaping. To best sum it up, I would use the quote “what you think about, you bring about”. It doesn’t matter if it is good thoughts or bad, or if you want them or not. Your dominant thoughts are what you attract into your life at this very moment.

This is EXTREMELY important to understand! It is relevant to everything in your life, as it applies to your relationships, finances, health, etc. Since similar things attract, the universal law responds by sending you back “answers” similar to the vibrations you are sending. The vibrations are created by your thoughts—and more importantly—by your emotions. This means that whatever you are emotionalizing comes back to you two-fold, which makes the attraction stronger. Again, this can be a good or a bad thing depending on your dominant thoughts and emotions.

How to Use the Law of Attraction

The key concept is that when your thoughts are backed (or “charged”) by good emotions, they attract good opportunities into your life. And the reverse is true: when your thoughts are charged with bad emotions, they attract bad opportunities and situations. Some people work the law of attraction in a positive way without even realizing it, while others work it in a negative way.

If you’re not happy, you need to change your dominant thoughts and emotions.

Affirmations

A great strategy for achieving this is to use affirmations. Make a list of affirmations that also support your future ambitions. These are statements like:
“I am financially free and living my dreams.”
“Great opportunities are all around me to seize.”
“I am healthy and full of vitality.”
Once you have listed your affirmations, it is important to review and emotionalize them daily. It’s amazing how powerful your thinking can be.

Tying Affirmations to Your Career

You’re probably asking yourself: “How will this help my professional life?”  It’s simple; if you are unhappy, negative, and critical within your professional life, the likely result is that of a career which is unfulfilling, stagnant, and unrewarding. Likewise, if you emanate happiness and turn your thoughts around, you can experience a professional life that is positive, fulfilling, and rewarding.

The spin you put on your thoughts and daily professional life, is one that will continue to come back to you.  It is astounding what the subconscious mind will tell the conscious mind.  When your thoughts are filled with “I can” or I can’t” then eventually the subconscious will do exactly that.  Simply suggesting that you are a “winner” and truly believing it, you will bring about positivity when the conscious reads from the subconscious. Positive affirmations and visualizations are the key to success.
